SAMN is committed to providing a relevant and meaningful service to its members in 2017 and build on the great work the network has completed in previous years.

The priorities for SAMN in 2017 are:

  1. Connection and collaboration between SAMN members
  2. Hosting training/professional development or an event
  3. Increasing engagement from current SAMN members

Following feedback from SAMN members, network meetings will be held quarterly in 2017 on a Thursday in March, June, September and December.

Meetings provide an opportunity for SAMN members to network, share information and learn from other mentoring professionals, raise challenges and seek feedback/suggestions, and share solutions and ideas.

Membership is open to individuals and organisations with an interest in mentoring in South Australia.

Membership categories and fees for 2017:

Individuals                                        $50 per annum
Organisations (up to 3 members)    $100 per annum

Membership is valid for 12 months – 1st January to 31st December.  Individual memberships are non-transferable.

Members are encouraged to develop a strong understanding of the 2012 National Youth Mentoring Benchmarks as a minimum set of standards. SAMN supports and encourages all mentoring programs to meet the benchmarks.
